Membership
Our Purpose
We organise monthly local social events and talks to provide a local focus for recreational light aviation, encourage enjoyable social activities and flying activities, improving safety knowledge and understanding and to maintain awareness concerning local threats or potential restrictions on light aviation activity. Our members come from all types of backgrounds with a common interest in light aviation. Guests are welcome at all our events, so please feel free to pop by and give us a try!
Oxford LAA Group Membership
Membership gives you free entry to our monthly talks and voting rights at our AGM held in January each year. It helps the group pay for the costs of running hiring the room, covering speaker expenses and other related overheads. We operate on a not-for-profit basis and we are all volunteers.
Membership is £40 for the year if you join before 1st July, or £20 if you join after this.
Alternatively, you can pay £5 per meeting
Guests always welcome at £5 per meeting
You will receive a membership card which you can collect in person at one of the meetings, or can be posted to you.

LAA Membership
The club is a branch member (formerly called a Strut) of the Light Aircraft Association.
You don't need to be an LAA member to join our local branch or to come along as a guest to our meetings, but there are many benefits of joining the LAA in support of light aircraft engineering and flying activities. Its relatively inexpensive (around £80 per year, £30 for under 30's) and they publish a bi-monthly magazine which is very informative - there are also normally a few free landing vouchers!
